Current Obsession: Organic Home Cleaning Products

This is a sponsored post written by me and on behalf of EcoNuts. All thoughts are my own.

I've always considered myself obsessed with health. Anything labeled NON-GMO or USDA organic makes me happy. Although organic products can be a bit more expensive, there are definitely some benefits of consuming an organic-based diet. Plus, think about all the incredible options out there!

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with EcoNuts, an organic, sustainable, and cruelty-free company that offers safe and affordable products. They provide just about everything from laundry detergent, floor cleaner, glass cleaner, and veggie wash. Since inception in 2009, EcoNuts has been committed and dedicated to using some the highest quality of ingredients for their customers. Whenever I look for cleaning products that are safe for myself or my family, I am always curious about the chemical make-up. However, I don't have that same worry with EcoNuts.

Overall, I think its important to choose products that not only work but are good for the environment. If you're interested learning more about or want to stay in know about new products, click here

Twenty-Two Intriguing Facts About Me You'll Love

Whenever I was asked to "talk about myself" I always had a hard time because I never really knew what to say. I never felt like I had anything "interesting" to say. However, over the years, I have learned that sharing aspects about myself isn't anything to be ashamed of. Instead, it's often exciting being able to look back at achievements such as being the first one in my family to graduate from college and feel a sense of pride.

While considering what to share, through this process, I no longer am scared to talk about myself because many of these moments are apart of my identity. Disclosing my identity and things about me has lead me to have great conversations, meet new people, and learn about the experiences of other people at the same time.

If you are feeling scared or unsure what to share about yourself because you feel like you'll be judged or others won't understand, I am reminded of Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) that says:

"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

With that in mind, here are twenty-two facts about me.

5 Ways to Authentically Embrace Change

The older I get, the more I want to draw nearer to God. My relationship with God is a continuous process in which I am glad to be a part of. There are things I have experienced in life that God himself was to bring me from. And I know he will use it for good. Along with my relationship or any relationship with God, there is a process of growth that is necessary.

Next to growth is change, it's almost like the two go hand in hand. I am a firm believer that growth is apart of the process, even if that process differs from person to person--that's okay.

The great thing about growth and change is being exposed to bigger and better things. In addition, sometimes growing and changing is what is required for God to take us to the magical places he wants to. Additionally, when God takes us to higher heights and deeper depths, I can attest that I am continually learning that we can't take everyone to places God has for us.

However, this doesn't mean that we love them any less. But perhaps the place God has in mind is greater and requires love, time, and care. Along with this journey, I encourage you to think about these five ways to use change for good:

1. Be mindful, be present. Perhaps create vision boards or maps of where you see yourself years from now. What does your future look like? Are the same people you have in your circle still in your circle?

2. Leave old things behind that might've weighed you down or hold you back from living your best life and being your best self.

3. Sometimes you literally just have to dive into the deep end and trust that everything will work out the way it should.

4. Roll with the punches. You may be knocked down. But I guarantee you are not out.

5. God will never give us more than we can handle.

What are some ways you handle change when it comes upon you abruptly?

Hello there, Welcome!

It took a long time for me to get to this point of making this blog. Although it took awhile, I am glad to have made it! After months/years of self-doubt, hectic schedules, and uncertainty, I believe that now is the time for me to launch into the deep. I can no longer let fear stop me, break me, or even hold me back. I have to just power through and I think that this blog is the perfect place for that.

When considering what I wanted this blog to be, there were a few things that came to mind; those included style, beauty, food, travel, and a ton more. Granted there are many amazing blogs in those exact niches, I wanted this blog to be special to me and interesting to you, the reader. One thing that is near and dear to me is my faith and my walk with God. As a 22-year-old Black woman and millennial who literally grew up in church, my relationship with God has brought me from many things and to many places.

Although I am passionate about style, travel, and more, it's important to sprinkle faith into blog posts as well. It's also impossible to not feel like some way and somehow, this blog can and will serve as a platform for me as I navigate life and for you, whatever journey you may be on. This blog is a replica of moments of my life and I couldn't be more excited to share this with you.

love + light,

Ajea Nicole
